Hello and welcome to a festive edition of the Dean Healthcare blog. Today we have a very special message from Sam, our Managing Director as he reflects on the past year, and looks forward to the next...

2022… what a year. In all honesty I’ve never had such a year, it really has had it all.

Amongst all the chaos, I am incredibly proud of everything that Dean Healthcare have achieved this year. There have been some lows and challenges faced which as always, we have met face on and made our selves better for. Additionally, there have been some massive highlights and I am increasingly happy with how Dean Healthcare stands and indeed looks within the social and healthcare community both internally and externally.

I would like to thank every single one of my fabulous peers and colleagues. Some of whom have been with me through thick and thin. Its been a big year of change for us and we have refocused, realigned and developed the company to a new plan and strategy which has bought success to all this year. I am confident that this will create a sound foundation for similar and increased success in the new year and indeed the future.

But most of all I would like to thank all of you working within the Health & Social care sector, those working for Dean Healthcare: the Support Workers, Nurses and Carers who I see tirelessly giving themselves on a daily basis but also the wider and broader community of individuals who all work together. I am continuously blown away by the dedication and hard work given to support those most in need. In tough and challenging environments, you continue to be a true inspiration. There are changes needed to ensure our sector, the one we do all deeply love yet we find pushes us to the limits of our physical and emotional boundaries, can continue to operate in a safe, effective and caring way for the better of those we support. I hope together and united in common cause we can ensure our working environments are maintained to the impeccable standards required and delivered effectively and safely.

I’ll take the opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year and best wishes to all of you and your loved ones for 2023. This is our year. Again, its going to be a heck of a ride.
