Your role
Children’s Deputy Manager, Central Gloucester
Up to £35,000 per annum, DOE
I am looking for a compassionate and capable Deputy Manager to join a great Children's care home, located in Gloucester. Working as a deputy manager, you will be willing to go above and beyond for the needs of the children and young people (aged 15-23), providing non-judgemental support and compassion. You will work closely with a brilliant team who are delivering care and support to young people in a warm and homely environment.
Details:
- The role mainly consists of Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts (9-5), including being ‘on call’ one day per week with shift cover occasionally required.
- You would support the registered manager, line manager, two team leaders, and a team of support workers.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting people with complex needs and experienced in line managing staff teams.
- Have (or be working towards) a Level 3,4 or 5 Diploma.
- At least 2 years experience in a deputy or managerial role
- Experience within residential childcare a benefit, but relevant experience considered
